Function was chosen by LinkedIn to carry out its recent relocation of over 160 people from two locations to Castlewood House in the West End of London.
LinkedIn needed us to fast track the project – we were still doing the survey on the Monday at the same time as the crates we’d organised were arriving. The quote was submitted and accepted on Tuesday and the pre-move elements began on Wednesday. The Thursday and Friday gave us time to liaise with the Council about parking and incorporate the noise abatement restrictions for the work at the Gresse Street location. Friday night was move time for the Cavendish Square element with the Gresse Street building being emptied on Saturday. That left Sunday for unpacking, snagging and general assistance including rubbish disposal, hanging paintings and whiteboards, IT recommissioning and cleaning of all IT equipment.
With all the essential elements in place in the new eight-floor facility by Monday morning Function teams were then engaged for a further few weeks to assist with a host of post-move services including carrying out general works, maintenance support and setting up the gym with equipment shipped from the USA. Function has since been retained by LinkedIn for support services including recycling / rubbish removal and meeting room support services.
LinkedIn chose Function to do their move because only Function provides Relocation Certainty – guaranteed.
