Function is helping the Institution of Structural Engineers move around London. The lease on their Belgravia office ended but their new office wasn’t ready so their Institution of Civil Engineer/ICE chums helped them out. Function has moved the 30 people into the ICE Great George Street building, providing hired desking for the short term stay. The library has taken a longer journey and the 1.1 kilometres of shelf contents (sequentially packed of course) is stored in Function’s secure warehouse. Phase two in December will see all people, books and files installed in their more permanent home in Clerkenwell.
