Virgin Media has been refreshing offices and equipment following mergers and Function was called in to help. At the Liverpool call centre we helped with the makeover of the office without buying new furniture using redundant furniture from other moves and projects. We collected and installed products from different sites including 120 degree Steelcase desking, and decommissioned and recommissioned the IT equipment. After the move we recycled unwanted product that wasn’t suitable for reuse in a way that upheld Virgin Media’s CSR policy. This included the separation of metal and wood for recycling and the last bits that couldn’t be recycled were sent to waste transfer stations for further processing.
